I said in my heart, "I am sick of four walls and a ceiling. I have need of the sky. I have business with the grass." -Richard Hovey
A moody child and wildly wise
Pursued the game with joyful eyes,
Which chose, like meteors, their way,
and rived the dark with private ray
They overleapt the horizon's edge,
Searched with Apollos privilege;
Through man, and woman, and sea, and star.
Saw the dancer of nature forward far,
Through worlds, and races, and terms, and times
Saw a musical order, and pairing rhymes.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Looking for a job.
I am currently looking for a teaching position so I can spend more time with Emerson. The bank hours do not leave me with a whole lot of time to spend with him. I was getting discouraged with the job search, until yesterday, I ran across a posting that listed 2 teaching positions at a school near me. I looked at the school website, and the school looks wonderful. It is a small school who's focus is on the outdoors. They have an outdoor classroom, a climbing wall, and a walking trail. I am very excited about the school and have contacted the principal. Keep you fingers crossed, I would really like to get this job.

Kiah's Birthday Party
On May 10th we drove to Chattanooga for our friends' babies first birthday party. Emerson had a great time. They had a baby pool and a slip and slide. Our other friend David was there with his twins. Daniel and Olivia played with Emerson in the baby pool. I think Emerson really liked having kids his size to play with.
Getting ready for more.

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo
Well, I have resurfaced. It has been a long time.
Emerson has recently found a love for trains. Choo Choo is his favorite word. That and he likes to quack like a duck. Todd and I took Emerson to see this train caboose. It is parked in Clemson University's botanical garden.

Fingers crossed, knocked on wood, threw salt over my left shoulder, etc., etc. Sounds like you'd be a shoo-in. Good luck!
Fingers & toes crossed. Keep at it.
