A moody child and wildly wise
Pursued the game with joyful eyes,
Which chose, like meteors, their way,
and rived the dark with private ray
They overleapt the horizon's edge,
Searched with Apollos privilege;
Through man, and woman, and sea, and star.
Saw the dancer of nature forward far,
Through worlds, and races, and terms, and times
Saw a musical order, and pairing rhymes.

Can't stop what you can't catch.

Emerson is rolling over like crazy now. He is trying so hard to crawl but he can't get his little belly off the floor yet. It won't be long though.
Mom and Dad are coming down to visit soon. I am excited for them to see him again; he has gotten a lot bigger. Other than that, we aren't doing a whole lot. Todd is putting tile in the guest bathroom, my garden is really starting to grow, and it is really hot. That just about sums it up.

What kinds of things did you plant in your garden? For some reason I like to know those things - not sure why... played too much in the dirt when I was little?

Kiah's Birthday Party

On May 10th we drove to Chattanooga for our friends' babies first birthday party. Emerson had a great time. They had a baby pool and a slip and slide. Our other friend David was there with his twins. Daniel and Olivia played with Emerson in the baby pool. I think Emerson really liked having kids his size to play with.

Getting ready for more.

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo

Well, I have resurfaced.  It has been a long time.

Emerson has recently found a love for trains.  Choo Choo is his favorite word.  That and he likes to quack like a duck.  Todd and I took Emerson to see this train caboose.  It is parked in Clemson University's botanical garden.
