I am making a choice today to no longer neglect my doggies. They need love just as much as the kiddies do. Emerson is making steps toward a more peaceful bedtime. The idea of it is making me more peaceful throughout the day.

This is Emerson at about 10 months. We were enjoying some great fall weather. This was before Emerson could walk. I knew right away that this was the picture I would enter into this challenge.

Summer is in full swing...

It is soooo HOT here. No rain. I have to water the garden almost every night. Thankfully my Dad helped me weed the garden while he was here. It is looking good right now and we are thinking about putting in some squash for the fall. We recently went to the Greenville Zoo. That was a lot of fun. Emerson really enjoyed it. We have been to the park to play, and the lake to swim. It still feels like we never get out. There is another park in Greenville we are planning on checking out pretty soon. Hopefully we will be getting ourselves back into a regular schedule. This post is about as chaotic as my life feels so I hope you enjoyed the read.

I wish I would have realized what a great place this spot is for pictures. Maybe I would have made him turn around and smile. I will remember next time and gets some good shots of both of the kids.
