A moody child and wildly wise
Pursued the game with joyful eyes,
Which chose, like meteors, their way,
and rived the dark with private ray
They overleapt the horizon's edge,
Searched with Apollos privilege;
Through man, and woman, and sea, and star.
Saw the dancer of nature forward far,
Through worlds, and races, and terms, and times
Saw a musical order, and pairing rhymes.

Looking Ahead to Spring

We just returned from our trip to Chattanooga. We had a great time regardless of the fact that both the kids were sick the entire trip. It was great to see old places that we love, and old friends that we love. Thanks to everyone we saw for making our trip feel like we were home again.

Now, we are looking ahead to spring. The daffodils are starting to bloom, and it is time to start working in the garden again. That is one of my favorite things about owning a house, the back yard is perfect for a garden. I only hope my tomatoes to better this year than last. We are praying for a bountiful harvest.

Pics from Chattanooga...

I wish this wasn't in night vision, but that is the cutest thing I have ever seen. They were on either end of the bed when I left the room, when I checked on them, they were in the middle all snuggled up.

Our trip to the Aquarium was rushed, but great. We spent alot of time in the butterfly garden, and right here in front of this big window. We were in a hurry because our IMAX movie was starting soon. Todd and the kids were looking good sporting their 3-D Glasses.
Here is Emerson with the butterfly map. He is pretty serious about this stuff. Future scientist?
Overall, Great trip. Home Sweet Home. That is what I said as we drove into town. Home is where the Heart is, and I left mine in Chattanooga.

Stacy, those are the cutest ever!! I am glad you enjoyed your trip, hopefully the next one everyone will be healthy. And maybe someday you will be able to spend more time in Chattanooga. It really does suck to have to choose.

Kiah's Birthday Party

On May 10th we drove to Chattanooga for our friends' babies first birthday party. Emerson had a great time. They had a baby pool and a slip and slide. Our other friend David was there with his twins. Daniel and Olivia played with Emerson in the baby pool. I think Emerson really liked having kids his size to play with.

Getting ready for more.

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo

Well, I have resurfaced.  It has been a long time.

Emerson has recently found a love for trains.  Choo Choo is his favorite word.  That and he likes to quack like a duck.  Todd and I took Emerson to see this train caboose.  It is parked in Clemson University's botanical garden.
