Well, here is the update to the very crazy end of 2008...
Car trip to Illinois with 2 children and a dog. We stopped off in Chattanooga to stretch our legs and visit some friends. When we finally made it to Illinois, Emerson was very excited to see Nana and Grandpa. Corey and Ethan came to visit for a couple of days. Mom was in hog heaven, all her babies under the same roof. We missed Dave though, he should have been there. Emerson played in the snow and enjoyed visits from a lot of the family.
When we left for home, it was negative 6 degrees and 35 mile an hour winds. Don't forget the inch of ice that was on the road. Needless to say, it was a long trip back to Chattanooga. 15 Hours.
When we got home, Grandpa Crisp brought Emerson a new train table for Christmas. We attended the Crisp family Christmas on the 24th. Santa came, and we celebrated with the rest of the family on the 25th. Emerson's birthday was the 27th and Aunt Season came with gifts on the 28th. By the time New Years Eve came I was done celebrating. Next year we are just going to celebrate Hanukkah.
