Here are some pics of Emerson's potentially broken arm. We are going to the orthopedic surgeon on Thursday to find out if it is broken. The doctor in the ER said it is hard to tell with children his age because the bone still has so much cartilage. They can tell it is broken when new bone starts to grow around the break.
I said in my heart, "I am sick of four walls and a ceiling. I have need of the sky. I have business with the grass." -Richard Hovey
A moody child and wildly wise
Pursued the game with joyful eyes,
Which chose, like meteors, their way,
and rived the dark with private ray
They overleapt the horizon's edge,
Searched with Apollos privilege;
Through man, and woman, and sea, and star.
Saw the dancer of nature forward far,
Through worlds, and races, and terms, and times
Saw a musical order, and pairing rhymes.

Kiah's Birthday Party
On May 10th we drove to Chattanooga for our friends' babies first birthday party. Emerson had a great time. They had a baby pool and a slip and slide. Our other friend David was there with his twins. Daniel and Olivia played with Emerson in the baby pool. I think Emerson really liked having kids his size to play with.

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo
Well, I have resurfaced. It has been a long time.
Emerson has recently found a love for trains. Choo Choo is his favorite word. That and he likes to quack like a duck. Todd and I took Emerson to see this train caboose. It is parked in Clemson University's botanical garden.

Oh, Just wait this is just gonna be one of the many times that he hurts himself. So are you ready to have a little girl! Have you picked out any names yet.
oh no! how'd he hurt his arm? i can only imagine this little guy. i have a niece who was born 10-25, she's adorable. can't wait for your little one!
He looks like he is a tough little guy though! How is he doing? How are you feeling?
Love the new background. I cheated and used the same site. Lots of cute stuff on there.
