Apples Apples Apples
Todd's Grandparents have a couple of large apple trees that were loaded down with apples this year. What would you do? Pick'em and make apple sauce, so that is what we did. We picked over three bushels of apples. Knowing that we were going to need some help, we recruited some friends. Matt works with Todd at the college, so we invited Matt, his wife Pamela, and their son Whitacre.
There were bites taken out of more than a few apples before we were done. Emerson was enjoying the day. All in all, we made 14 quarts of apple sauce before we were all too tired to peel anymore. We used about half of the apples we picked. The rest are in the fridge, apple pie, apple turnovers, apple bread, apple butter. Please, feel free to send requests.

I love the pictures. Emerson is getting so big. Tell Todd that Angie will take some apple sauce off his hand, but only if he delivers it personally. LOL
Your countdown is now the same as mine!!! It's gonna be here before you know it. How are you feeling these days?
