Todd, Emerson, and I went to Atlanta to visit Season. It turned out to be a great day, the weather was great and so was the hospitality. The weather was so nice that day we decided to take Emerson to the zoo. As you can see from the pictures, he had a great time. Of course my favorite animal is the giraffe, but Emerson really enjoyed the petting zoo. Actually, he was a little bit uneasy around most of the animals in the petting zoo, but he really liked the kangaroo's. They were not in the petting zoo, but they were jumping around alot, so they were easy for him to see.
Season also took us to an interesting taco joint. No one is allowed to sit down. You have to stand in line, order, then you can sit. If you come in and want someone to order and someone to save a seat, the "bouncer" is going to ask you to get up and stand in line. No kidding, I actually saw "the man" kick a grandma and her grandchild out of a seat and make them stand in line with the rest of their party. I would hate to have that job, but it would be good for someone who needs to feel like they are powerful when they're not. The tacos were pretty good, not your standard taco bell taco, but they were good. I had my first fish taco, something I have been wanting to try, but the opportunity has always been interrupted.
All in all, great trip. Thanks Season.

A moody child and wildly wise
Pursued the game with joyful eyes,
Which chose, like meteors, their way,
and rived the dark with private ray
They overleapt the horizon's edge,
Searched with Apollos privilege;
Through man, and woman, and sea, and star.
Saw the dancer of nature forward far,
Through worlds, and races, and terms, and times
Saw a musical order, and pairing rhymes.

Kiah's Birthday Party
On May 10th we drove to Chattanooga for our friends' babies first birthday party. Emerson had a great time. They had a baby pool and a slip and slide. Our other friend David was there with his twins. Daniel and Olivia played with Emerson in the baby pool. I think Emerson really liked having kids his size to play with.

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo
Well, I have resurfaced. It has been a long time.
Emerson has recently found a love for trains. Choo Choo is his favorite word. That and he likes to quack like a duck. Todd and I took Emerson to see this train caboose. It is parked in Clemson University's botanical garden.
